As we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Christ’s arrival, let allow His love to penetrate our hearts, and let’s put into practice His love flowing through us.
Advent is about preparing. It’s not about finding all the answers or checking all the boxes. You just have to show up and be willing to follow God’s lead. Wherever you are, you are not too late. God wants to fill your heart with hope for the ultimate healing and life in His Son.
Jesus has the power to transform our lives, to reshape our hearts, when we respond with gratitude. So intentionally consider the small and big things in your life that are good. And take time to record them and thank God for each and every one.

This group meets at Ray’s Restaurant outside of York Springs (the old Hillside Restaurant) every other Saturday at 7 am. They enjoy fellowship and a time for renewing their covenant, seeking to be the men God has called them to be.
The local churches support New Hope Ministries on the third Wednesday of each month to serve our community. New Hope brings a food trailer to YSUMC that currently serves from 3-4:30 pm.
