Life can be hard, but we know the truth the shepherds held. The Savoir has come! In Him, we are saved. In Him, we win. The amazing thing is, no matter what happens, that can never be taken away from us. So don’t settle for anything less.
All the prophets of the Old Testament looked and longed for the coming of Jesus. Prophets were chosen people who God spoke to and sent to His people in order to prepare the people to turn back to God. Advent is the perfect time for us to wait and prepare. As the prophets waited for Jesus’ arrival, we wait and prepare for His Second Coming.
What’s going on in our country right now should make us want to go to our knees and listen for God all the more.
