All of us are like Ruth. Without a redeemer we will face death and the punishment for our sins. Jesus came to die in our place to pay for our debt of sin before God. He bought us back to be part of God’s family and saved from sin for all eternity.
Find joy in trials for trials exercise our faith.
Our present sufferings are nothing to be compared with our future hope. Our present sufferings are just another reminder of the global consequences of sin. It’s another reminder of our need for a Savior, of the world’s need for a Savior. Our current circumstances are just another reminder that one day, God will in fact make all things new.
Mary’s response to life’s unpreparedness and uncertainties is a testimony for all of us here today.
Marriage is about the Kingdom of God. The way a husband and wife submit to one another and love one another is a picture of the kind of love Jesus has for the Church.
